Fred Clay Tenney (1859–1919) was a Major League Baseball outfielder. He played for three different teams in the Union Association during the 1884 baseball season. He played collegiate ball at Brown University prior to his professional career. After his stinti n the UA, he played one more season of pro ball with the Hartford team of the Southern New England League in 1885.
